Presley
Paris, the son of Eddy
and Lisette Paris, is enjoying a ride on Ban
Ban. The
Paris
family allow us to use their property for the Sanctuary and they have
also adopted a donkey from the beginning of the sanctuary. The Vice
President of the Foundation has written a book called "Kosh Kosh,
the Green Donkey From Aruba". To show the Foundation's
gratitude for all the
Paris
family has done for us, the first copy of the book was presented to
Presley Paris on Animal Day 2006. Again Thank You Paris
Family.

ACCP
2006 is a convention for police commissioners in the
Caribbean and was held in Aruba this year. They decided to adopt
Chippie. Chippie
certainly knew how to get them to adopt him. He decided to
gently nip the trousers and purse of one of the spouses and got her
attention. He now has a nickname, Nippie.
Adoption
from May 27, 2006 - 2007

Henrietta Hyatt comes to the
sanctuary each year. This year she chose to adopt the new baby, Luna
Midushi, who was born on Monday, June 11th. She adopts the
donkey for her grandchildren Madison Pointer and Maxwell
Nelson. The baby is so cute. Last year she adopted One Eye
who is the mother of the new baby.
Unfortunately Luna Midushi was run
over by the big donkeys and did not survive. She died June 30 only 19
days old. Henrietta adopted Luna Midushi's mom One Eye instead.

Shannon Belaney and her husband
are from Ohio and they were celebrating their honeymoon on the white
beaches of Aruba. Because Shannon's favorite animal is the
donkey, the newly-married couple wanted to go to the donkey sanctuary.
After giving the donkeys lots of carrots and buying some donkey-stuff,
they decided to adopt a donkey. In her heart Shannon wanted to
adopt all of them, but finally chose Crooked Ear.

The Burgess and
Clark families from
Massachusetts and New Hampshire come to Aruba often. This year
they decided to visit the Sanctuary and instead of going to the Casino
and spend their money they are going to adopt Negrita. They have
asked that Negrita be given a middle name of Jackie.
Most of donkeys only have one name so she is really special now.
Adoption January 2, 2006 - January 2,
2007

| The
Byington sisters paid a
visit to the Sanctuary to meet our four legged family. Maryanne
decided to adopt a donkey for her sister Martha.
Blanca was the lucky
donkey who was picked. Blanca has a very slim face and she is a
real lady. She does not push her way to the front of the line
when food is being given. She
waits her turn.
The adoption is renewed till December
2008. Thank you!

A nice way to
celebrate the holidays is to give an
adoption gift to friends. Catharina Ruys gave her
friends, Kaela & Nikki vd Vaart, a one year adoption of one
of our babies, Sky. Sky was born this summer to Sasha and
is very adorable. This is a gift that gives all year long.
